In a night where the scent of a withering flower brings serenity, where the sound of the weeping souls stuck between the layers of the rotten, peeled walls brings infatuation, the piercing light of the burning candle reflects in the velvet red color of the blood drops that slowly and gently slide down the dry lips that are the only mildly tempting thing on her disgusting face…. An artist would find beauty in the disfigured lines that are so imperfectly scattered on her head, a lonely man would find a fragile creature that needs protection from the world and a possible mate, a “normal” person would find a monster, me on the other hand I find neither… However unpleasant the sight of her face is I like to believe that every line, every scar has a story to tell… I see pain, suffering. I see the last light in her eyes trying to hold on and in that light I see her desire to live. It doesn't matter now…. In a few moments

sometimes being alone is
wishing you could numb yourself,
with just some
but, that will not work
everything eventually leaves
and so do people
for a short time or a long time
the pressure in your chest
fells like you are suffocating
why is it ?
people walk by, you say ''hi''
but they don't respond
''what the fuck ,am I invisible ?"
''WHY CANT YOU HEAR ME!''
''JUST LISTEN TO ME''
a never-ending cry for help...
when a car comes by your spirit lifts
when the car dissAPEARS
your lungs clench
and so these days go by
as you feel the sensation to climb walls
or rip open your chest just to get some air
but in the end you will still be alone
''why won't anybody hear me"

The synchronized turning of every page
Being forced to stand on a stage
These people all fill me with rage
“I could easily destroy this place
To find me they would have to chase
I could turn the walls into rubble-”
OH SH-! They heard me! Now I’m in trouble!
The class writing about a book we read
As another part of my soul drops dead
But I’m too distracted by the clocks tick
“Mum I can’t go today, I’m sick…
Miko Writes: How to Hold a Successful ContestStarting these new tip/tutorial journals off is this topic which has come up recently among various people I follow- contests. I see a lot of people host contests but not a lot of people actually writing about how to make one, and sadly, I see a lot of the hosts come out empty-handed because they assumed if they wrote out a nice journal saying "Draw my OCs! Win Prizes!" that people would flock to them. Hopefully by the end of this you'll be able to host a much more successful contest than before!Miko Writes: How to Hold a Successful Contest by MikomiKisomi

Foreword: I have run many successful contests in the past. I define successful as in they were not wastes of my time and I received many entries. Some of them got upwards of 20+ entries. So with this in mind, maybe you'll believe my credibility when reading this.
